The Genius of Ed Ruscha

With such simplistic yet riveting art work, Ed Ruscha captured the attention of millions over the span of his life with 50 active work years under his belt. What boggles my mind is that Ruscha migrated from Oklahoma along with thousands of others just like him; the fact of the matter being that he was able to transform his simplistic images into an empire of artwork filled with masterpieces. If only I had “kept my eyes open” to see such masterful and creative work like Rucha’s. Not only am I in awe at the beauty of these pieces of art, but inspired to take part in my own art work hobby.
